ExchangeWales guide

What is a sender wallet address?

The sender wallet identifies the blockchain address or payment source expected to send funds for the request, while the recipient wallet is where the exchanged asset should be paid out.

Why it is requested

Sender information helps connect an incoming blockchain payment with the correct exchange request and can also support transaction and compliance checks.

Recipient wallet

The recipient wallet is different: it is the address where the customer wants to receive the output asset after the exchange is completed.

Centralized exchanges

Withdrawals from a centralized exchange can sometimes be broadcast from the exchange’s own infrastructure rather than a personal on-chain address. Keep the request ID and transaction hash available for support if needed.
