What happens if crypto is sent on the wrong network?

A coin or token name alone is not enough. The sending network must match the network selected in the exchange request.

Different blockchains

USDT, USDC and other assets can exist on several networks. A TRC20 transfer is not the same transaction as an ERC20, BEP20, Solana or TON transfer.

Possible consequences

Wrong-network transfers may not be detected by the expected wallet and can require manual investigation. Recovery may be impossible depending on the addresses, network and wallet infrastructure involved.

What to provide to support

Keep the request ID, transaction hash, asset, amount, network used, sender address and recipient address. Do not send an additional payment unless support specifically instructs you to do so.
